I recently saw a debate in the makeup world about which magnetic palettes for "depotting" are the best for professional and consumer use. We all know there are palettes from MAC, but they changed them and sadly their magnet backing isn't strong at all. There is also the famous Z Palette that comes in all sorts of sizes and cute prints, but the pressed cardboard structure and plastic window can't withstand heavy commercial use for a long period of time. At the end of the day, I want a palette that can take a beating, that is where the Make Up For Ever Magnetic Palettes come in.

These palettes are crafted from metal and have an insanely strong magnetic backing inside. Another perk of these palettes is the foam insert, that can be removed, to protect your pressed pans during travel. I never would have though a small piece of foam would give me such peace of mind! Some downsides to these palettes are the weight and no clear top. I don't mind going without a clear window, but the metal gets heavy when you have a lot of it. I carry about 4 of these right now and they do weigh a bit, but they have added so much room to my kit! I went from numerous compacts and smaller palettes of blushers, bronzers, highlighters, and eyeshadows all down to 4 PALETTES! Once these are in stock again, you better believe I'm buying many, many more!
