Sophia's Picks: Korean Beauty Products

There is a lot of hype going around lately about Korean beauty products, and it is all living up to it! I cannot begin to tell you about all of the wonderful benefits and ingredients with these products, not to mention most of them have adorable packaging. Here are some of my current favorites for professional and personal use!

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream: This is an absolute must for dry skin! I use this on set for a quick fix with rough, dehydrated skin as well as for myself when my psoriasis lesions are bad. It is quenching and super soothing

Dr. Jart Water-Full Hydrogel Mask: My go-to mask out of every single one I've tried. Any hydrogel sheet masks are great, but this one is my favorite for dehydrated, dull skin. It doesn't slip around either!

Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam: This product has a incorrect description on Sephora's site, it is a petrolatum-based product with shimmer. It does contain some beneficial oils and ingredients for the skin, but it is not meant to be mixed or placed under a foundation or BB/CC cream. What it CAN do is create an amazing dewy or wet finish depending how much is applied. Also, the scent is amazing!

Berrisom Oops! My Aurora Cream: Definitely not the easiest thing to purchase in the US, but if you can, you need to buy it. This is a lustrous peachy-pink cream that gives skin a moist, dewy look. It contains 8 berry extracts and comes in a sanitary dispenser. What I love about this is you CAN mix it or apply under a foundation or BB/CC cream without worrying about your makeup slipping. I got to use this on set yesterday underneath the foundation and over top the skin care, it made a difference in the luminosity of the model's skin. This is an awesome "base" to use on its own for everyday use under your makeup!
