Obviously those who know me see that I am a nut when it comes to skincare. Be it for myself or in a professional setting. Recently, I was sent an amazing care package from Luzern Laboratories with their fantastic line of skincare products (special thank you to Zlata for introducing me to this mind-blowing product line!). It has been awhile since I have been so impressed by a bunch of products from the same brand that I have used EVERY DAY on set and on clients! I even snuck a tiny bit for myself to try, and let me just put it out there that these products are psoriasis friendly!!!

I know I am very excited about this moisturizer, almost to the point where I am almost concerned with my love for it. But, there are many reasons why it has amazed me!
Luzern is a brand that creates luxurious skincare with cosmeceutical grade active ingredients. These are clean, cold pressed formulations which means no irritants or additives are in this formula and it will not compromise the results. They do NOT test on animals, and they are free of the Toxic 12 (Benzoyl Peroxide, DEA, MEA, TEA, Dioxin, DMDM Hydrantoin, Urea, FD&C Color and Pigments, Parabens, PEG, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Butylene, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sunscreen chemicals and Triclosan) It goes without saying that Luzern is hands-down a no nonsense brand, which makes me even more ecstatic!
Their Serum Absolut line is definitely worth a mention, using the proper serums your skin needs along with this moisturizer will show you insane results within days. Believe me, I put it to the test on my skin for a week and was floored at the difference it made!
Force de Vie Pure Oxygen Créme Intensive has been nothing but fantastic for me during the process of skin preparation before applying makeup. I have never felt anything so rich without feeling heavy, this is truly the pinnacle of luxurious moisturizers. There is nothing I've tried (which I've tried A LOT) yet that has made the skin's texture feel so healthy within seconds of application. That being said, its the ideal moisturizer for combo/normal to very dry skin types prior to makeup application in a professional setting. I vary the amount applied depending on how dry the skin may be, so no matter what I still get a glowing, buttery complexion on a variety of skin types. The makeup applies like a dream over this moisturizer and it does not alter the longevity of the products applied. Note that this moisturizer is non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic! There are ZERO oils or alcohols used to preserve their formulas, they have an alternative preservative system that clearly is amazing.
What makes this moisturizer so magical is how science driven this brand is! The formula is a targeted delivery of ingredients like oxygen, co-enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, natural moisture factors, phytonutrients, ceramides and lipids to the uppermost layer of skin on downward to deeper layers. It truly is an effective product that delivers immediately towards any visible signs of aging and skin concerns. I am not joking at all when I say you will see a difference within days of use. That is how powerful this line is. For those who do suffer with skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea etc. this WILL NOT irritate you. I personally used this when my psoriasis was flared up on my face, this actually helped calm the irritation and help bring back the moisture barrier to affected areas throughout the duration of use. When I find something that can accommodate THAT many skin types, concerns and issues, its clearly a blessing in a jar.
